Your Personal Trainer
A healthy lifestyle starts with a fit body. As your Personal Trainer, I will identify your fitness goals, design a program that fits your needs and lead you through every workout. My name is Jules and I am the founder of Fitness50 and a fully qualified fitness instructor. I run my personal training schedule from my home gym and my fitness classes are based at the CBFitness Studios in Fleetwood.
I began running my fitness business in Fleetwood sine 2018 and I have been helping clients change the way the look and feel each day since. My own fitness journey and experiences create a unique approach to my personal training and gaining confidence is as important to my principals than gaining muscles.
MY FITNESS JOURNEY
The very principal of Fitness50 is based on very real people and it is based on my own fitness journey. When I was younger; in my 30s - I was a fitness fanatic, a proper gym addict and I turned a passion for kickboxing into a lifestyle. I trained in kickboxing for years, gaining all of my belts and my physical and mental health was in a great shape. Then life got in the way, I had injuries that were taking longer to heal and the time I was dedicating to fitness edged away from me without my realisation and my whole lifestyle changed. For around 10 years I stayed away from anything fitness related, without intention but just because time passes us all before we realise.
One day I looked at myself in the mirror and I realised I didn’t like what I saw anymore, I didn’t recognise parts of myself. I was tired; run-down and over-weight, I just wasn’t looking after my body anymore. People describe a ‘light-bulb moment’ changing their life and I believe this was the point that I refer to that did indeed change my life. I was nervous about joining the gym again, but when I found the courage to do so I found a passion reignited. This is where the idea of Fitness50 came from, I wanted to help people just like me. The ordinary people - the real people. If you have ever felt like life is passing you by, you want to achieve a new goal but have lacked the confidence in doing so or you have thought ‘I’m too old for that now’ then you’re not alone, that is how I felt along with many others. But I wasn’t too old, I gained the confidence and I gave time a run for it’s money and you can too!
I went back to the basics and started learning again, working hard to gain the range of qualifications I now hold within the fitness field. I changed my life and I haven’t looked back since. My fitness journey has helped me to feel empowered, strong and powerful.
I never dreamt for one minute that I would have access to my own gym, but I now have a modest space within my home that hosts a variant of functional equipment and that is all I have needed. Now my work speaks for itself, my clients are at the centre of everything I do and my philosophy for Fitness50 is revolved around their needs and their testimonials are representative of that.
